Well, I'm sure someone does. The canonical printer for the 110 was the HP Thinkjet, specificially that version of the HP Thinkjet with an HP-IL interface (like the 110) and maybe a battery power pack (I can't remember). The HP model number for that was 2225B. (2225A is the HP-IB flavor and is not the same.) If you have your heart set on one of these you might want to ask over in comp.sys.handhelds, because HP-IL was used on some of the calculators and handheld computers. Also comp.sys.hp.hardware might be appropriate. When I worked at a place that used 150s and PCs and had a couple of 110s, we bought Thinkjets with the serial interface (2225D) because we could use them with other things besides the 110s. This worked fine, you just needed the proper serial cable to go between the serial connector on the back of the Thinkjet and the funny 9-pin serial connector on the back of the 110. And you needed to be near power on the relatively rare occasions that you wanted to print. And you needed to tell the 110 that its printer was on the serial port, not the HP-IL bus. That 9-pin serial connector has a different pinout from PC/AT 9-pin serial connectors. From Mark Simms' HP Series 100 FAQ, dated 07 Sep 1995: #D8) What is the pinout on the serial connector? # #The serial connector is a female 9 pin sub-miniature D-type with the #following connections: # # 1 CD Data Terminal Ready # 2 BA Transmitted Data # 3 BB Received Data # 4 CA Request to Send # 5 CB Clear to Send # 6 CC Data Set Ready # 7 AB Signal Ground # 8 CF Carrier Detect # 9 CE Ring Indicator Hope this helps. -Frank McConnell
